When searching for a new job or new career, many postings do not provide a salary range for the posted positions available. My petition states that all job postings must have an accurate salary hiring range for the posted position. That would allow potential employees the opportunity to make an informed decision about applying for that position or not. It is far too commonplace to find out the salary of a job after one is well into the hiring process. It can be a time-consuming process just to realize that the salary is too low for your needs.
