All officers of the law, police, sheriffs, correctional, highway patrol, and detectives, must volunteer at least three times a month to patrol local public schools. Officers choose their line of work because of their compassion and concern for the well being of the general public, therefore, it seems, they should volunteer their time to patrol the schools so we do not have to further tax the people.
