Reflecting on the recent shooting at the movie theater in Louisiana, I think that the government should create a law that makes it mandatory for gun purchasers to take a psychological test before purchasing a gun. The psychological test can be administered by the Firearms, Tobacco and Alcohol government departments on a given day by a test administrator, like they do for other government jobs. It should not be an online test. If the purchaser passes the test, then the background check follows. Maybe this will lessen the tragedies.
