Make it mandatory for high school students to take a parenting class to teach them the basics of child care.

I am petitioning that we make it mandatory for high school students to take a parenting class that teaches them the basics of child care.These students should learn about taking care of the child's diet, doctors visits, and other topics of health and care of the child. They should learn about budgeting for a family, preparing for common emergencies, and knowing what needs to be in place in case the parent dies. They also should learn about what services are out there if they run into problems, like support for those with children with special needs, if they need counseling, or if they just need someone to help with the stress. I present this petition in the hopes of ensuring educated parents, and to help prevent cases of abuse that are caused by ignorance.
