Those who overdose on drugs, whether it be cocaine, heroine, meth, etc are still victims of the drug trade. That person leaves a family. The family never really received justice. The deceased are often shunned by their family for being an addict and there are dealers who supply them with the drugs to continue their addiction.
I am asking that once there is an overdose on drugs, law enforcement must start a homicide investigation. Those who know the dealer but refuse to give out that information should be charged with accessory to murder.
It is time to give justice to the families. This will help fight the drug war.
