Gun laws have not worked, it is time to try a new approach. Instead of creating more laws to restrict gun use, it is suggested that the federal government do the following:
1) Make it mandatory that each child attend a firearms safety course, no later than the age of 12
2) All school employees be trained in, and required to carry, a working firearm while on school grounds, or at a school function.
Neither of these should be optional.
3)Remove any and all existing firearm laws that would not allow the above laws to be carried out.
We live in a violent society, While bad things will continue to happen, having trained people with firearms will minimize the damage and death.
