Make it necessary to be current on child support in order to be allowed to have non-custodial child visitation continue

Created by C.H. on November 14, 2012

Thank you for signing this petition. There are too many non-custodial parents allowed to see their children and yet are still allowed to continue to fail in paying the child support due to. Right now it is a separate issue and so a parent may pay nothing and yet still have contact with their child(ren). This makes no sense as why should a parent who is not willing to be responsible enough to take part in the financial care of their child(ren) be allowed to have visitation? Many parents are 10k dollars or more over due. They are not being held accountable for this behavior.
