Make it possible for every school in the USA to have a metal detector and school safety officer

After such a tragedy in Connecticut today I am requesting the government take a look at the schools security systems. Many schools have a decent security system in place based on what they can afford but I think the government should pay for every school to have a metal detector in place as well as a safety officer. We cannot put a dollar amount on a persons life. I know it's expensive and many schools cannot afford it that's why I am asking the government to step in. Do what you need to do to insure every child is as safe as they can be while they're at school. Thoughts & Prayers to all of those affected by this tragedy today. It is such a sad day in America. We need to make sure we protect those who cannot protect themselves above anything else.
