Make it a right to have 2nd eval less than 1 yr post-op after spinal surgeries when patient feels further care is needed

Created by M.K. on September 07, 2012

After a patient has a spinal fusion even their family doctor can and usually will refuse to address any issues relating to the back or neck area. Even if the issue does not relate to spinal fusion or new or worsening symptons occur. If the patients surgeon further testing or care is warranted no other doctor will treat patient until one year post operation from the date of fusion. many people suffer from ailments or diseases that could be found and/or treated because they are denied the right to second opinion concercing post op care.
