In schools around America, students must submit or give up their fourth amendment rights of denying unwarranted searches and seizures. Students are forced to oblige to searches without a reasonable cause, but rather a mere suspicion. While lockers are the school's property, and are rightfully condoned to search, a students backpack outside of the locker, their body, and their belongings such as a phone or handbag should not be searched, unless warranted.
