We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Make it unlawful to publish or broadcast information identifying mass murderers.

Created by B.S. on June 19, 2016

Mass murderers and terrorists often commit horrible acts to seek notoriety, fame (infamy), and inspire other evil-doers to commit similar acts. We must stop these killers from making a name for themselves. A federal law should exist that states: "It is unlawful to publish or broadcast information identifying mass murders and terrorists - no person shall print, publish or broadcast, or cause to allow to be printed, published or broadcast, in any instrument of mass communication the name, address or other identifying fact or information of a mass murderer or terrorist unless necessary to protect the public from an immediate threat. Any offense under this section shall constitute a felony of the second degree, punishable with a 5-year maximum imprisonment and a $50000 maximum fine."
