make it unlawful for the US government to aid, make laws for the Entertainment Industry in any way, int'l or otherwise.

Created by X.W. on January 24, 2012

After the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect IP Act (PIPA), it is clear that the legal system of the US should not be controlled so heavily by the Entertainment Industry. And it's clear that not only is there no shortage of creative outlets, but we cannot and will not risk losing our constitutional rights and our freedoms for a couple extra dollars in the pocketbooks of record labels and Motion Picture Studios.

That is why this petition has been made, to make it illegal for the US Government to directly aid, make laws in favor of, or be lobbied by the Entertainment Industry. As well, it would restrict the gov't from giving consent to or participating in/with any foreign body which aids the entertainment industry.
