Sometime this April Clark Univeristy in Worcester, MA, will hold its annual Spree Day celebration. Jacob Garber is obviously the best person to host the event, so unless the spree day organizers are considering finding a robot to host, they better wise up at let Jacob do his thing. The fact that Jacob can't be trusted shouldn't deprive Clark students of the best Spree Day possible. Sure, he may be a hot headed loud mouthed liar, not to mention a sneaky slime ball and a squirmy rascal. But are robots not also capable of being all those things? Do we really think a robot would make a better host than Jacob? Well, maybe in a few years when technology has improved, but for now probably not. Actually there may be a robot out there that is up to the task, but it would probably be too expensive.
