Make January 11 National Singles Day!

Created by M.C. on November 13, 2014

Single status still holds a powerful stigma in our society today, even though the single population is quite high and continues to increase. Single people make much less money than those who are married or even in committed relationships. Single women, divorced, never married, or widowed, suffer the most. They make much less than single men! Single dads make much less than married dads. People's attitudes towards marriage have changed tremendously. Fewer and fewer people are getting married every year, yet society's mindset towards singles has not changed. if we start celebrating singles instead of shunning them, their lives will change dramatically for the better. They will have a better chance of having more enriched personal and professional lives.
