Make the job of Police Officer a Federal Position for better training, consistency, salaries & greater accountability.

Local Police Depts nationwide have been plagued with 1) questionable shootings, 2) policy disputes, & 3) failed attempts at law enforcement reform, historically & currently. Police Officers perform a difficult job with low pay & minimal training. As" Federal Police Officers", 1) a 4 year degree should be required, 2) salaries should be increased, & 3) training should improved & standardized. This would produced a better caliber of Officers with grater accountability, who will not be overworked, undertrained, & underpayed. Local police administration is clearly a broken system that must be changed, no matter how you slice it!
