We, the citizens of the United States of America are looking to make July 18th, henceforth and forevermore, a federal holiday entitled, "Nelson Mandela Day" in the United States. We believe that Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela deserves acknowledgement in the United States and his own day in our nation. This man has widely contributed to what the world is today. We believe that us Americans should recognize him and the day of his birth as gift from God to the world.
