We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Make June 12th a Federal Holiday to Honor Those Killed in the Shooting and the Struggle of the LGBT Community

Created by B.B. on June 14, 2016

This holiday is to ensure that the LGBT community knows they’re supported and loved. It’s to tell the world that we stand beside our fellow Americans regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity. It is a weapon against all the hatred and all the anger that continues to build up in our country. Without this holiday we merely pretend that all of these injustices never happened.
