Make Justice Truly Blind

Created by J.A. on November 04, 2016

It has come to my attention that most poor, colored, lgbtq people often do not get a fair trial by peers. (47% in Poll View Legal System as Unfair to Poor and Minorities) And the judgements are also doled out unfairly. (Race, sex and economic status taken into account for income projections in court trials)
As a country we cannot get passed someones skin, economic status or sex. So I propose to take those elements out of the legal process. No more in person trials, everyone is given an alias, no voices or specific accents will be heard. A report will be given to the jury (whose traits will also be kept from any court officer) the only information given to the jury will be the facts as set forth on paper with the laws being referenced and the definitions of said laws.
