Make a "Kid's Day" holiday

Created by A.F. on May 08, 2016

I'm 9-years old. I'm a kid. I think we should have a Kid's Day because moms and dads get a day. Why shouldn't kids also get a day?

Kids deserve a day to be celebrated because, as a kid:

We work hard in school. We have lots of homework. We try our best. We have to do chores. We have to go to bed at a certain time and we don't get to stay up late very often. We have to wake up early for school and sometimes sports practice. We have tests. We have to listen to what our parents tell us to do.

That's why kids should get a day. Here's what should happen on Kid's Day:

Parents can't tell kids what to do (unless, of course, a kid could get hurt or needed help). We don't have to go to school. We get to have fun and play all day. We get to stay up late (9 o'clock, at least, but can be later).
