If anybody has spent time in Europe or Canada they might know of a small candy called Kinder Surprise Eggs. For those not familiar with it, the egg is a layer of milk chocolate, then a layer of white chocolate, with a hollow center containing a small toy. They are banned in the US because they could pose a choking hazard to children below the age of 3 because of the small toy inside. We are the only country where it is illegal to take a candy egg from Canada to your home in the states. People have actually gotten fined thousands for "smuggling the contraband" across the border. The only way a child could choke on the egg is if the parent is not watching the child carefully enough. I personally think US citizens are smart enough not to kill themselves or their child with a chocolate egg.
