Following the reelection of President Obama, many citizens have started petitions to have their states secede from the union. I do not actually have any desire to become a King, nor do I expect this petition to be recognized by the Obama administration. This petition serves as a symbolic gesture to the American people; if you want to retry a failed idea of the past (such as secession), you may as well try another one (such as monarchy). Regardless of whether or not you agree with the President on his policies, America is the greatest nation on earth, and why anyone would want to secede is beyond me. If you're hard right, look at it this way: it's only four more years. God bless you all, and God bless the United States of America.
