Now I've been riding a motorcycle for quite some time, and the area I live in does not allow lane splitting. We still do it though. While other drivers may not like lane splitting us motorcyclist LOVE it. It lets us travel faster AND if you do it right and the motorist around you are safe it might be safer than just riding in traffic.
