Make a law that requires a class and licensing similar to that of getting a vehicle license to own firearms.

we need to require all people wanting to own firearms to take a regulated class on safety and self defense. all gun owners will need to get a licence and maintain the licence in order to keep and own firearms. if properly licensed no person should be denied the ability to own any firearm that is legally available for purchase today 12-14-2012. We need to focus on education and licensing instead of over regulation.
firearms with less ammo are not less deadly but if people are properly armed and educated tragedies like the shootings happening lately can be reduced if not stopped.
