After a ride through town and noticing on almost every street 3 out of 5 drivers sending text messages while driving I decided to make this petition.
I ask that it is signed into law that every cellular telephone company must write a software package that will use GPS speed to disable (unable to send or receive messages) the text message feature of cellular devices at and above 5 MPH. This would also have to be a feature that would not be able to be turned off.
I believe too many people are getting injured and even dying due to the irresponsibility of others.
