Make the legal age of purchasing over the counter medication to 18 and all must have Identification upon purchase.

Over the counter medication sold to minors is unjust and can cause and create issues and harm of internal organs: I.e. Kidney failure, cardiac arrhythmia and so much more. With the increase of suicide, our great mental health crisis, and the rise of substance abuse in the United States from the past years, a call to action is important and highly needed. As of right now anyone of any age can go to the local grocery and buy over the counter medication without any questions asked, and no identification required. “In fact, prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) drugs are, after marijuana (and alcohol), the most commonly abused substances by Americans 14 and older.” (http://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/prescription-over-counte...)
