The violence and fear in this country is thrust at us by the media and through tragedies, but the source of this is the failure of our legal system. We need to dramatically make the legal system work, through better judges and the use of the breakdown of politics affecting legal outcomes. Justice is blind, and should not see race, religion, political ideology, or gender. To truly have a just system, we should change the legal system to suit what it should be and what the constitution idealizes. To many times have we had unjust judgements based on opinions rather than facts, and through the use of money to buy off the law. We need a system where the rich and poor are equal, and there are no more double standards for any individual.
