The 2012 Obama campaign was preposterous. The President of the United States was unable to run on his accomplishments alone and resorted to running a smear campaign on Governor Romeny, successfully I might add. Senator McCain resorted to the same technique in 2008.
We need to put a stop to this, we the people demand a legislation be put in place that calls for clean and fair elections, with full disclosure. Obama focused his campaign on Romney's investments in China, yet failed to make note that he too has investments in the foreign country. He also made constant reference to Romney's social status, while he also is part of the 1%. None of this issues were important when choosing a President yet it is what decided the election. It's time for candidates to run based in their accomplishments
