In some states such as Pennsylvania, it is legal to use live pigeons for target practice. These shoots are horrific, brutal acts of animal cruelty. Tens of thousands of birds die every year, and none are eaten by humans or used for any other purpose. Dead, or still clinging on to life, these birds are dumped in the woods. Animals such as fox and birds ingest the discarded pigeons as well as the lead shot within them. I hope that you will join me and put an end to this terrible act of killing animals for entertainment purposes.
