We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Make living in a sheltered home a right for all citizens.

Created by A.C. on August 24, 2016

Currently, "the greatest nation in the world" has a homeless population of 564,708 people- pretty ironic. Everyone should be able to live in a sheltered home. It is a basic necessity that every American needs, however not everyone has it. If we can't fully abolish homelessness, we should at least create apartment-like communities where homeless people can come live in temporarily as they figure out a way to get back on track and be able to get a job where they can support themselves.
