Congress already gets paid very well to gridlock each other, leaving the American people to suffer. Right now, decisions are made based on who provides more money to our elected representatives, not by the wishes of the constituents. The lobby industry is corrupt and gives extra pull to special interests that shouldn't hold the pulse of our country.
