Animals do have feelings and they do HURT. People might think twice about killing their neighbors barking dog or kicking the cat because it missed them all day. These creatures big and small just want to be loved and protected.
Most of us consider our pets to be family, and most wouldn't leave an animal on the side of the road to starve or be killed be traffic but some people will and have done these things many times!!! Maybe if we paid more attention to animal abuse and less to the use of marajuana we could become a kinder America.
Make the penalty higher and it just might help to curb the horrid things you always see on facebook. SAVE our BEST FRIENDS!!
