Make mandated overtime illegal if the reason for mandation is that not enough staff were scheduled.

At least 3 times each week a fellow employee is mandated over a spot not being filled in on a schedule. Working 11pm-7am then having to stay until 3pm and be back at 11pm for another shift destroys the human body. I do not feel that this should even be allowed. To top it, some nursing homes and hospitals won't count mandation unless it is at least 4 hours or if they want, a whole 8 hours. Imagine being mandated twice in one week for 3 hours of your time. My schedule says 11pm-7am. That should be from the time I clock in to when I actually leave.
