Make mandatory an 18% tip on all bills $50 and above unless legitimate complaint can be made for not tipping.

I simply believe no person should enter a restaurant and expect to be served while not expecting to pay for service. I understand times are hard and the economy is bad. If these issues are affecting your financial situation then you need not dine out. There is always take out and fast food restaurants. Waiting tables while seeming to be a simple thing to do is actually a very demanding job. I know of no other industry where working an 8 hour shift is considered a double-shift. I strongly urge any who work in the industry to sign this petition. I can't be alone in not being able to understand how I receive a $10 tip on a $30 check then turn around and receive a $5 tip on a $50 check. Maybe it's just me but the math just doesn't seem right.
