MAKE A MANDATORY LAW THAT ALL SCHOOLS IN THE NATION HAVE METAL DETECTORS AND SECURITY OFFICERS AT ALL ENTRANCES.

As Americans we are forced to send our children to school and they are forced to meet the requirements in Math, Language Arts, etc. Tax dollars are spent to ensure these requirements are met. We need to divert some of these tax dollars to security to protect our children. Our school safety requirements are not sufficient. All who enter must report the main office, show identification, and sign in. This obviously is not effective when it comes to weapons. We need a mandatory requirement that all schools in the nation must have metal detectors and security officers. Any doorway into the school must have a walk through metal detector and security guard with a hand held device. All windows which open must have an alarm to ensure no form of weaponry is entered into the school by any means.
