I would like to declare March 20th national Mister Rogers day in honor of the man who touched so many lives, in so many ways, with the best neighborly advice anyone could give. Fred McFeely Rogers (a.k.a. Mister Rogers) was born on March 20th 1928 in Latrob, PA. Mister Rogers' Neighborhood first aired in 1968, and continued to run 895 episodes, this show, this man, became a legend. I cannot imagine my life without him, we should return the favor. On March 20th, the mail man can be refered to as 'Speedy Delivery' and when you great people, tell them 'hello neighbor', in music classes, the class may have the option to sing 'Won't You Be My Neighbor?'. It's a beautiful day in the neighbor hood, and I want it to stay that way. I like you the way your are, will you be my neighbor?
