Marijuana is much less addicting than alcohol and tobacco products that are already legal in our country. If made legal, there would be no more waste less spending of tax dollars on the fight against marijuana (roughly $20 billion a year). The US could definitely use that money towards more important things such as education. Marijuana has also been scientifically proven to help fight diseases such as multiple sclerosis, AIDS/HIV, aching pains, nausea and vomiting, cancer, alzheimer's, as well as rare blood diseases.
