I had this idea when my mom said the government might shutdown. So I started thinking of ways for the government to make money. I came up with this.
1: It would alleviate some of the police force to start looking for actual criminals, and thus the cost of this "war on drugs" would go down, allowing for more money to go back towards the national debt.
2: This would create quite a few jobs. You'd need to hire growers, guards for the fields, and people to run these "shops". That helps our economy.
3: It would help boost citizen morale. Because if they can get marijuana legally, why would you do it illegally? The illegal marijuana trade might just shut down completely.
