Make marijuana legal to reduce our deficit.

Created by B.B. on March 16, 2013

If our federal government makes marijuana legal and taxed it like cigarettes, it would eliminate or deficit and prevent cutbacks in medicare, education, and tuition assistance for the military. This would also create more jobs for the unemployed and decrease unemployment for states. People that use marijuana are going to buy it whether it is taxed or not. Making it legal would also decrease illegal transportation from mexico. This worked when we made alcohol legal and taxed it and it will work making marijuana legal.
