Created by G.J. on June 25, 2013

Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, and Washington DC

These are all of the states that have legalized the use of marijuana for medical purposes.

The drug is medically used for treating glaucoma, stimulating hunger for individuals inflicted with cancer and AIDS, as well as treating MS and depression.

The drug has limited dependency problems and low potential of abuse, which is in line with the findings for a drug that is Schedule V.
