Make May 15th, Peace Officer Memorial Day a National Holiday.

Created by S.T. on March 01, 2016

We Honor the sacrifices of our Military Veterans, and rightfully so. All gave some, and some gave all in defense of our country and our liberty. The last Monday is May is set aside as a holiday to remember these fallen heroes.

Each day, men and women in blue, stand on the thin blue line defending our country from within. Hundreds die every year, and yet, there is a significant lack of respect for these fallen heroes.

May 15th of every year has been designated as National Peace Officer Memorial Day, and yet, this day goes unnoticed, and unrecognized by the vast majority of the American public.

We propose that May 15th be designated a National Holiday, so that we as Americans may pay full respect to those that lost their lives in defense of our internal national security and freedom.
