Make May 26 a federal holiday: Arrested Development Day

Created by A.O. on April 04, 2013

The television program Arrested Development is much more than a source of entertainment.

It dissects and discusses issues of morality, redefines traditional family roles within American society, and serves as an example not to take ourselves too seriously. It also shamelessly makes puns with the word "blue" for cheap laughs.

It touches upon the long American tradition of pulling oneself up by one's bootstraps and over coming all obstacles to achieve the American dream through cheating, fraud, and potential incest.

In these uncertain and troubling times, the hope delivered by new episodes being released several years after its untimely demise remind the American people that there's always money in the Banana Stand.

We the people request that this day be honored with a national holiday.
