As Steve Jobs also attempted to convey, Fox News has become one of the most destructive and counterproductive forces in our society. This network has become so radical over the course of its existence, it now condones when its broadcasters and guests make comments belittling women, minorities, the American people in general, and even the current President himself. One individual actually accuses Obama of hating Republicans for being purveyors of "white privilege". Fox spreads misinformation on topics ranging from the economy, to climate change, to even the presidential election itself. The 1st ammendment protects one's right to free speech, but it should not protect an organization's right to lie, spread hateful messages, or report false information on a wide array of national topics.
