Diabetes is Diabetes whether you are a Type 1 or a Type 2 in terms of blood glucose testing. Current Medicare coverage covers blood glucose testing strips for Type 1 Diabetics to be able to test 3 times a day, where as Type 2 Diabetics are only covered by once a day testing.
