Since members of congress have been unable to or unwilling to do the job they were elected to do they should immediately:
1.) Pass legislation enacting a maximum of two terms in office, effective immediately.
2.) Pass legislation abolishing retirement for life at full pay, they must contribute to a 401K style plan and enroll into the social security / medicare system. Effective immediately and retroactively.
3.) Pass legislation to cut their pay by a minimum of 25%, effective immediately.
4.) Pass legislation requiring all budgets to be balanced, effective immediately.
5.) Ban all lobbyists and special interest money, effective immediately.
