Make Mental/ Behavioral Health records to be an addition to the background check when purchasing weapons.

Created by M.B. on April 17, 2013

Im a veteran with PTSD and not allowed to possess weapons. Besides the PTSD Ive been an outstanding American that has protected this country and I can walk into a sports store and buy a weapon with a simple background check. The seller has no idea that Ive a medical record stating I cant have weapons. I cant be around weapons for different reasons but there are citizens out there who have a medical record that says they shouldnt be around weapons due to them having homicidal or suicidal thoughts. So being a Veteran with a medical record stating all that, I stand by other Americans and say that Mental Health Records indicating such, should be an item on the background check and those individuals to include the members of their home shouldnt be legally allowed to possess weapons of any sort.
