Make mental health education, screening and treatment a priority in America.

Created by J.B. on January 30, 2014

When Americans are better treated for any mental health issues ranging from depression to schizophrenia and PTSD they have better quality of life and are even overall healthier physically.

We can see America is facing difficulties by the rise in suicide rates and in the rash of shootings that are taking place across America. Just a few examples.

It is important for the safety of ourselves and the safety of the public, that mental health be taken more seriously and more readily screened and treated in our country.

Some ways we could achieve this is by yearly psychiatric exams that are covered by health insurance, and/or free psychiatric exams for those who cannot afford it as well as more affordable treatment for those diagnosed with mental health illnesses.
