Federal and State Governments are slashing aid to Mental Health Services. Most people suffering from a metal illness cannot work or cannot hold on to a job, making finding treatment very difficult.
More funding has to be available so ALL the people who suffer from mental illness to have access to a psychiatric doctor, therapists, and medication.
A lot of people can't get the treatment they need. A large proportion of the homeless are mentally ill - many are veterans.
Veterans coming home from combat also need intensive treatment.
