The United States is one of 3 Countries in the world that has not adopted the Metric System as the primary system of measurement. The other 2 Countries are Myanmar and Liberia. It's time for the United States to step into the modern age with the rest of the globe.
Replacing major signs would create numerous jobs from sign creation, transportation, and replacement. This does not include all goods sold with measurements as they will need to be updated as well, which will create more jobs. It's a small gesture that would gain international recognition and create many needed jobs.
