Make the Metric System the standard form of measurement in the US.

In a world growing more globally connected every day, a standard system of measurement is crucial. Nearly every other country uses the Metrics System, while the US continues to use the outdated US Customary System. The US needs to quickly and efficiently convert to the Metric System in order to compete Economically and Scientifically in the Global market. Students should be taught the Metric System as the primary standard of measurement, with the US customary system taught from a more historical perspective.
