Make the Metric System the US's standard system of weights and measures.

The United States is one of two countries in the world that does not use the Metric System (or SI - International System of Units) as its primary/only system for weights and measures. This puts us at a disadvantage with trade, education and makes us a laughing stock to the scientific community. By eliminating our convoluted current system and syncing up with rest of the world, we can become a more valuable asset to the world's economy.
